Valuheart Monthly Heartworm Tablets for Large Dogs 21-40kg 6 tablets prevent heartworm disease in dogs by eliminating the tissue stage of heartworm larvae (Dirofilaria immitis) that infected the dog in the month (30days) before treatment.

Dosage and Administration- Give one tablet per 40kg bodyweight orally at monthly intervals. Use the enclosed stickers on your calendar each month as a reminder of when to give tablet. Tablets may be halved if reqwuired for each additional 20kg of bodyweight. The dog should be closely observed for several minutes following administration to make sure that the entire dose has been consumed. If it is suspected that any of the dose has been lost, redosing is recommended.

General Directiond - Because all mosquitoes potentially carry infective larvae, and can be active all year round, it is recommended to use Valuheart continuously throughout the year. However, is using Valuheart seanonally, the initial dose must be givenwithin one month os first exposure to mosquitoes. Valuheart also controls heartworm infection when treatment is initiatedup to foru months after exposure to infected mosquitoes, provided only monthly treament is continued for at least 12 months, and the final dose is given within one month after the last exposure to mosquitoes. If you are changing to Valuheart from another heartworm preventive product, the first dose should be given within one month after the last dose of the former medication.

Contraindications:- This product should not be used in puppies under 6 weeks of age.

Treatments should occur at regular monthly intervals. Dog should be tested and be free of adult heartworm and microfilariae prior to starting heartworm prevention.
